The Origin of the Monitor Defender™

The Monitor Defender™ was created after more than 20 years of commercial relocation experience, working closely with relocation specialists and IT move professionals. Across every project, we noticed the same issue: single-use bubble bags were being used for every monitor move—costly, wasteful, and offering inconsistent protection.

This raised a simple question: Is there a better way to do this?

Over the next year, we designed, refined, and tested multiple prototypes across a wide range of monitors and relocation equipment, including standard IT crates and Secure Roll Cages (SRCs). Through constant feedback, real-world trials, and durability testing, we finally arrived at a solution that solved the problem.

The result is the Monitor Defender™—a reusable, professional-grade, environmentally responsible way to protect monitors during office and IT relocations.

What is the Monitor Defender™?

The Monitor Defender™ is a premium, reusable protective cover designed specifically for 22″–27″ computer monitors used in commercial office moves and IT relocations. It replaces single-use bubble bags with a durable, multi-layer protective system that keeps screens safe from impact, scratches, moisture, and transport damage.

Its engineered 5-layer construction includes:

  • Soft velvet lining to protect the screen surface

  • Shock-absorbing foam

  • Rigid hardboard panel for front-face impact protection

  • Waterproof outer shell made from heavy-duty 600D Oxford cloth

  • Secure Velcro straps and edge-protection blocks for a tight, safe fit

This allows each unit to be reused for 150–200+ moves, dramatically reducing both damage rates and the environmental impact of office relocations.

The Monitor Defender™ also fits two protected monitors face-to-face inside standard IT crates, making it a perfect solution for professional movers, IT departments, and facility management teams.
